Nikki passed along this photo from the field. It appears to be a special edition Winter Chex Mix - Cocoa Flavored!!! I can only imagine the salty sweet Christmas delight this Mix is. We have sampled/devoured other new Chex Mix flavors, including the official flavor of Thanksgiving, the Turtle variety. Some of the Chex are covered in caramel and others in chocolate and there are little M&Ms and peanuts in it. While I haven't sampled the Cocoa variety yet (Nikki, care to comment??!?) I can only imagine how delicious it is. I expect that it is similar to the muddy buddies that I consumed last night
(picture forthcoming.)UPDATE: Here is a picture of the muddy buddies. They are rice chex coated in a mix of chocolate and peanut butter and then rolled around in powdered sugar.

This is the most delicious snack I have ever tasted! I think I might like it even more than the Turtle mix. You can't really tell from the picture but the pretzels are in the shapes of snowmen, stockings and sleds. My personal favorite are the mini marshmallows that are crunchy like the Lucky Charms marshmallows, as only American-grown preservatives can make them. Brilliant!
